Q.  How much of an advantage do you think you had just because Feliciano had never played on that court, had never played that late?
RAFAEL NADAL:  No, he played in that court.


Q.  Oh, I thought he said he had not.
RAFAEL NADAL:  I remember very good match against Roger in this court few years ago. He won the first set.

Q.  What's the scariest thing about Verdasco to you?
RAFAEL NADAL:  Everything...

Q.  I couldn't hear what you said on court about your victory salute. Do you give it a name? What is it?
MIKHAIL YOUZHNY:  What kind of name you are waiting?  (Smiling.) Just salute for thanks for crowd, you know.  Everybody -- a lot of guys are kiss their hands and say thanks, put racquet up and say thanks.  I do like this one.


Q.  Do you practice it?
MIKHAIL YOUZHNY:  After I winning matches.

Q.  Obviously Roger has far more slams than Rafa, but right now, here now, who do you think is a better player?
SAM QUERREY:  I mean, that's tough to not say Rafa, because he won French and Wimbledon.  But I think on the hard court I would say Federer.

Q.  Did you and David Ferrer talk in the locker room after the match at all?
FERNANDO VERDASCO:  Well, we just saw each other for a few seconds, and we just, you know, normal. He told me, well done. I told him, like, I'm really sorry. Then I told him, like, you know, that we need to keep fighting to be both in the Masters Cup. We have a great relationship. Of course when you lose a match like this today for him -- if I lost this match, for sure I was so upset and pissed on the -- it's true -- on the locker room. But at the end, you know, we are good friends, and I want him the best, no? I want him to be in the Masters Cup. And of course I hope that he will do it.

Q.  What are the tactics involved when you play Kim?
VENUS WILLIAMS:  Win the point. (Laughter.) You know, basically just go out there and, as I always do, try to execute my game and win the point, win the set.

Q.  Are you going to ask Fila to get you seven different dresses like Venus?
KIM CLIJSTERS:  No. I'm too superstitious probably to do that.
